If creating a hanging garden sounds too fancy for your plant skills, you'll learn how easy it is to create in this kokedama making class in NYC. In this workshop, you'll learn how to make kokedama, which is the Japanese art of growing a plant in a moss-covered ball! Not only is this a cool craft idea, it is also a unique way to display your plants!
This Japanese moss ball is an ancient garden art that adds so much personality to your plant collection. You'll also learn the history of this beautiful and simple design while learning how to create your own DIY kokedama with the guidance of a plant expert. No green thumbs required!
Everyone gets a plant, soil, sheet moss, Spanish moss, and twine so you can get all wrapped up in a fun activity that will let you show off your plant in a new way. Your instructor will share great tips on how to care for your own creation and how to keep it happy.
When you're done, you'll take away a handy new skill and have a cute plant display to decorate your house or office.
