3 hours Class size 1 to 6 (public classes), 2 to 4 label $120

Intersted in learning 3D printing or want to make ceramics without the mess? Learn how to make a ceramic vase in this 3D printing workshop in Chicago! During this workshop, you will 3D model a modern faceted vessel from scratch and print it in real ceramic clay. Your vessel will be approximately 4" tall and 2.5" in diameter after firing.

The 3D modeling lesson is for complete beginners, and you will be surprised how quickly you'll learn to make cool shapes! The printing process takes about 20 minutes per vessel. We will fire your vase and it will be ready for glaze in around two weeks.

If you'd like to glaze your vessel yourself, join us for a free bonus glazing workshop! At least 2 weeks after your initial class, stop by any Sunday morning from 11-2 and choose from our rainbow of glazes. We'll give you a quick overview of the glazing process and leave you to your artistry! If you're unable to attend, we can dip glaze your vessel for no additional charge.

If you're looking for unique gift ideas or want to learn a new skill, try this unique craft workshop!
