took the workshop as a birthday gift for a friend, the teacher was very knowledgeable and engaging. The venue was intimate and in a secure building. That atmosphere was pleasant with nice music in the background. I liked learning how to create a fragrance and the different notes. The class was a great value for the money and I enjoyed hands on learning experience.

My daughter bought me a gift card for Christmas, to take a cooking class at the Kitchen Engine! It was so educational and fun!! The instructor was fun and easy to understand! The food was delicious! I will do more classes in the future!

Not just for doll enthusiasts or creatives, this wonderful class is for everyone! I didn't fancy dolls much as a child. I had a few but preferred to play with my bear stuffies instead. I didn't know about the magic that could be found in dolls. I have attended Peggy's wonderful workshop twice now. Both times I was swept up in the joy and freedom of play and creativity. Being a person who struggles with embodiment, the bold colors, the soft textures, the soothing sounds of jazz in Peggy's workshop were all potent ingredients for a blissful two hours of meditative flow. I felt so much calm, ease and tranquility while creating my Stafford Dolls. In so many ways both dolls are mirrors into unknown areas of my psyche. I have learned so much about myself in the process of both creating and owning these beautifully crafted dolls. They sit adjacent to my desk and are ever present companions providing inspiration and comfort. Peggy is a masterful facilitator. She lovingly guides you through the entire creative process and you are in charge of every last lovely detail from the hair, to adornments, and clothing of the doll. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who would like to connect to themselves and others. I was hoping for a fun interactive experience while also learning something new, and our teacher, Rosemary, delivered just that and more; The vibe of her studio, clearly laid-out materials and tools ready to use, and and easy to grasp instructions. Rosemary even went so far as to send the recipe and all the photos she took of us that day! TrulyI booked this class as a gift to my mom for her birthday. Bladesmithing Class: Railroad Spike Knife
I booked this class as a birthday gift for my partner and am very glad I did. The class was AMAZING and this was due to our teacher being very knowledgeable, funny, patient, and passionate about blacksmithing. The venue was awesome and we were able to see so much creativity from the other people using the giant space. We learned how to take a railroad spike and make it into a knife and it was more fun than I imagined it would be. It felt like going behind the curtain and a little back in time. Terrarium Workshop: Sip and Plant
Came here with my BFF as a birthday gift and it was great! Loved that the terrarium glass was large and of good quality. The kit had everything we needed and there was a decent variety of plants to choose from at our table. I really appreciated that they had a snack and drinks table (was not expecting that!) and the hosts were very friendly and patient. Perfume or Cologne Making Class
We had an amazing time! I suggested this experience as a birthday gift for myself. The vibe, instructor, music, etc. were on point. I’ve already made plans to return. The owners have beautiful personalities and they make everyone feel like family. I highly recommend!

Sushi Making Class: Rainbow Roll, Steelhead Roll, and More
My cousin gave me this class as a holiday gift and we had the best time! The fish is fresh and everything is prepped for you in advance so you get to focus on making your American rolls, hand rolls and Maki rolls. Definitely bring a Tupperware for to-go items, as we had extra sushi. We learned knife skills and how to purchase the best sushi grade fish. Our class was held at Hotel Kabuki which has aMy cousin gave me this class as a holiday gift and we had the best time!
