Kusama's work is characterized by polka dots, organic forms, and optical illusions. Your art class will start with a brief art history lesson where you will learn about her artistic journey -- from her career as a young artist in Japan to international artistic stardom. Then you will create your own net paintings and pumpkin sculptures inspired by her work. Your skilled art instructor will walk you through the process of creating your paintings so you can rest assured if you don't have much artistic skill.
