If you've been curious to learn the ins and outs of natural soap making, this workshop in NYC covers everything you need to know to create beautiful botanical soap.

In this class, you will learn how to make your own batch of cold process soap with master soap maker Marla Bosworth. She will walk you through all the steps in this immersive workshop so you understand the process and have fun while you're at it!

What you'll learn:

  • What is the cold process method
  • How to work with lye safely (you're going to measure and mix your own)
  • How to formulate a great soap recipe
  • Where to buy supplies

With Marla's guidance, you will create your very own batch of soap by selecting botanicals, natural colorants, and your own essential oil blend. This class is perfect for beginners and your teacher will work side-by-side with you as you create in a supportive setting.

Please note:
  • This teacher's travel surcharge depends on the destination, ranging from $250-$500 and will be added once the initial booking is paid for.

At the end of your time, you'll have your own DIY soap to bring home and gain new knowledge to try it on your own!

Loved the experience! Marla was so much fun and knowledgable on so many aspects of the soapmaking process. Workspace was clean and everything you need is provided. Big plus is you get access to tips and info that will make your journey into soapmaking easier. Definitely would recommend especially for first timers like myself :)
