Roll up your sleeves and get ready to learn the craft of making authentic dumplings from scratch! In this hands-on and interactive cooking class in San Francisco, you will discover the flavor-packed world of dumplings with step-by-step guidance!
Follow Chef Huong to make easy Chinese dumplings. In this session, Chef Huong will demo how to make dumpling dough from scratch and you'll use store bought wrappers to fill and make your own dumplings. You will make two types of dumplings: Chef’s version of pork, chives, and shrimp dumplings and vegetarian tofu dumplings.
No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you do not already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the cooking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who is happier observing and assisting (or taste testing). You will work with other students in groups of 2-4.
