Learn how to make plant-based versions of traditional Chinese dishes from scratch! In this Richmond cooking class with Chef Grace, you'll incorporate time-honored techniques to prepare traditional Chinese dishes from start to finish using only vegan ingredients.

This is a hands-on cooking class, and it is beginner-friendly. Together with your classmates, you will prepare a complete three-course meal.

You will begin with a classic hot and sour soup studded with tofu and vegetables before a lesson in making homemade noodles for a dan dan noodle dish. Next, you will create a hearty mushroom and vegan pork sauce to pair with your noodles. Then, Chef Grace will finish the class by teaching you how to make a plant-based steamed rice cake for dessert.

You'll leave this class with delicious vegan recipes and the knowledge of how to cook Chinese vegan food on your own. When's your next dinner party?

Grace was an amazing teacher and was very patient. She explained every part of the process and gave so many helpful tips. She was very accommodating and made the whole process very easy. The food turned out amazing and she even gave me complimentary take-home boxes for all of the food. I will definitely be attending her classes again! It was truly a wonderful experience.

My sister and I booked this class for us and our dad as a Christmas gift for him. It was a great gift for a hard to shop for person. We got to spend time together and learn at the same time! Grace was a great teacher and host. 10/10 would book again.
