50 mins Class size 10 to 100 guests       $40

In this fun and interactive 50-min session, we’ll transform supermarket flowers into an elegant arrangement using a “flat lay technique” (the same one I use to create my wrapped bouquets), a tall vase, and a few bunches of flowers—all for just $35 (materials not included).
HOW IT WORKS: Once you register, you’ll receive an email with a link - follow the link for everything you need to prepare for the class. I’ll guide you through how to select the best flowers from your supermarket and provide a materials list, including a few items you likely already have, like a cereal bowl or vase, and links for ones you might not, such as chicken wire. (If you live outside the city, you might already have chicken wire on hand! If not, don’t worry—it’s about $10 on Amazon, and you can keep reusing it for future arrangements.)
WHO: This class is perfect for flower enthusiasts of all levels who want to arrange in a creative, supportive community and are excited to learn new techniques!
WHAT: This is a fun and interactive class where we’ll create an elegant arrangement! In addition to the live 1-hour session, you’ll receive a list of materials to purchase, tips and tricks for choosing the best supermarket flowers, and a few of my favorite flower recipes to try.
WHERE: This live class will take place over Zoom, so you can join from the comfort of your own home—no matter where you're located! Hope to see you there!
QUICK ASK: Please make sure to register for the actual number of people attending. I keep class sizes small so everyone gets a chance to ask questions, and every signup helps me keep these classes going. Appreciate your support and can’t wait to arrange together!
Knowledge required
None, beginners welcome!
What to bring
For this class, we will be using the “flat lay technique” to create a bouquet to put directly into a vase. The essentials are 4-6 bunches of flowers and your favorite tall vase. If you don’t already have them, I also recommend picking up a good pair of pruners or a floral knife. This is my most important tool for arranging—sharp cuts help keep flowers fresh longer. (Plus, I love a new accessory!)
More material details will be emailed to you after you sign up - If you're scheduling this for a large group of people and want an all-included experience, I recommend sending each participant a $35 gift card.
Suitable for
This class is great for team building and other group events.

Hi, I'm Rachel! I started my Instagram account, @happyarranging, as a personal hobby for creative expression and mindfulness, and it has quickly become a passion. Though I don’t have formal training, my love for flowers, background in fine arts, and countless hours of practice have inspired my work. This project has revealed the joy of working with nature and the value of connecting with fellow flower enthusiasts.
