In this two hour, hands-on workshop, you will learn all the basic skills you need to know to get started on crochet, including how to hold a hook and yarn, how to choose yarn and read a yarn label, and how to create the basic building blocks of crochet: the single, half double, and double crochet stitches!

By the end of your crocheting class, you will feel confident tackling basic crochet projects that are worked flat, be able to read a pattern and know how to finish off your project professionally with a neat border.

Monster is a unique shop dedicated to supporting independent artists. Located in Ballard at 1716 NW Market Street. We feature a different artist on the second Saturday of each month during the Ballard Art Walk.
