Day of the Dead Headdress Class

You will feel like a god or goddess when you learn how to make a headdress.

1.5 hours Class size 1 to 6 (public classes), 6 to 25 label $70

This halo style headdress is a fan favorite for Day of the Dead festivities. It combines faux flowers with a celestial aura.

We have a variety of zip ties in different colors to make the "halo" then you embellish the headpiece with our amazing selection of faux flowers, foliage, butterflies, feathers, sparkly things, and whimsical items to customize the look. As you can see from the photos from our previous students, no two halo headdresses look alike, even when using the same materials.

Day of the Dead is a celebration that originated in Mexico and is a way to honor the lives of ancestors. It combines the traditions of indigenous people along with those brought by Europeans for a distinct cultural experience.

You'll be guided by our incredible design team who are full of tips and tricks to make this DIY craft a breeze. You can expect laughter, music, and a warm and welcoming environment to help your creative juices start flowing.

Even if you don't consider yourself very artistic, you can be sure you will still make something amazing. The only skill needed is the ability to use a glue gun.

We are the design team at Mannequin Madness, a company that is been in the visual display industry for 20 years. In 2018 we started offering headdress classes on the mannequin heads we had in our warehouse. Our customers loved the idea of making art they could wear in 2 hours.

Our classes were so unique they were featured on ABClocalish.
