Eco-Printing Workshop

Create artwork with leaves, petals and found metals in this eco printing workshop in Kirkland!

2 hours Class size 1 to 12 guests     $75
Discover the magic of botanical alchemy known as bundle dyeing or eco-printing in this Kirkland workshop. Create unique botanical imprints on paper with raw dye-stuffs such as flower blooms, plants, and kitchen waste.
Eco-prints are made when plant material is placed between layers of paper and then steamed or boiled to transfer the pigment in unique, lasting plant portraits captured onto paper.
We’ll explore ways to further enhance your botanical prints through intuitive mark-making with sumi inks, micron pens, and watercolor paints. You’ll also learn how to turn your eco-prints into cards, tags, or mixed-media collages.
This beginner craft workshop is a great way to explore your creativity, explore sustainable craft ideas, and try something new!
