What you'll do

Learn to draw from an inspiring live figure model in this Saratoga art class. Whether you join a fun Friday class or book your own private session for a birthday, bachelorette party, or just because, you'll have a blast learning life drawing.

Have you been curious to check out some new places to go in the Bay Area? This art studio is perfect for drawing from life. All the materials are provided, too, so you just need to bring yourself (plus any drinks and refreshments you want to have).

Your host will give everyone a brief demonstration to make everyone feel ready and confident to explore drawing in the studio. Everyone will get a formal introduction and short demonstration to feel well guided for an artistic experience. Beginners are well supported and encouraged.

Guests are welcome to organize their own party atmosphere and bring refreshments. Please coordinate with your host to prepare your own drinks or party items.

Please note: Public dates for this class require at least 5 guests to run. In the unlikely event that we don't reach this number, we'll cancel the class; in this case we'll inform you and allow you to get a refund or reschedule, so please watch your email/SMS one day prior to the class.

My studio is called Art Students' Atelier Saratoga. I teach drawing and oil painting to students of all abilities. For over ten years I have directed classes and workshops that provide a meaningful creative experience for groups and individuals. Whether for fun or for committed life goals, I help people connect with their creative self in a nurturing studio environment.

Most of my students are teens who study with me for several years as they prepare themselves for college. They acquire skills and a body of work to become confident and prepared for their higher education in college or art school.

I also teach adults and groups in classes and workshops throughout the year. I host visiting instructors as well.
