Our instructor Arlene was so helpful, funny, inspiring, and had a great taste in music. The effort was somehow both easier and harder than expected (my arms are spaghetti), but the teacher was available to help if you were struggling. I got this as a gift for my partner's birthday – neither of us had done a cooking class before, but we cook a decent amount at home so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a full class, but Stefano and Dona did an excellent job of being attentive to everyone making sure we all got to participate in different parts of the process. Even as someone who is an experienced home cook, I came away learning a lot and the food was delicious! It was neat getting to try our hands at making the three different types of pasta from scratch. We learned how to roll a spring roll with rice wrappers, how to make dumpling dough, and four ways to roll and shape dumplings. Hanna was extremely knowledgeable and able to present the information in a way that was very easy to understand. I'm confident that I have the tools to figure out how to correctly (and safely) make soap with any type of oil I choose. Well worth the money.

DIY Turkish Mosaic Lamp
Nurullah is a very patient, detail oriented teacher. I loved learning about the origins of Art String and Mosaic Lamps. Both classes are a lot of fun to do! He's also very friendly, and makes sure you experience a truly complete Turkish experience with treats, music and culture.
I was offered a very generous discount for my second class, which made me be fully immersed in the activity and stay present to enjoy it. Would definitely take another class soon!
