What you'll do
Netsuke is the Japanese art of creating miniature sculptures. In this sculpting class in NYC, you will learn how to make your own golden Netsuke sculptures!
Your pottery lesson will start with learning the basics of carving miniatures in clay via a short demonstration of three different animal forms. Then, you'll be set free to unleash your inner artist and designer until you get a piece you love. After making your piece, we will dry it, fire it, and glaze it in real gold. It will be ready to be picked up one week from the class end date.
