If you love Thai food, it's time to learn how to make it yourself in this online Thai cooking class. With step-by-step guidance from authentic Thai chefs cooking along with you in real time, you will learn how to make pad khee mao, or spicy drunken noodles. Unlike at the restaurant, you get to decide how spicy to make them!

They are called drunken noodles because of the stories behind them. There is no alcohol in the recipe but the story is that drunk people would try to “quench their thirst” with these noodles before finding out the spice level. You can pair this dish with a variety of proteins such as chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, or tofu, which you will supply, along with a few other ingredients. The rest of the ingredients will be sent to you in a kit before this online class begins.

You will be surprised how fast and easy this recipe is to make at home! Even if you don't have experience cooking, you can master this recipe as your instructors will be on-hand throughout class to show you each step and answer all your questions.

Throughout this tasty virtual experience, you will learn unique Thai culinary tricks to use in the kitchen and tips for selecting the best ingredients for your own future cooking experiences. At the end of class, you'll get to sit down and enjoy your salty, spicy, and oh-so flavorful drunken noodles.

Please Note:We would like to ask you to prepare the ingredients for your class in advance. Please chop and slice ingredients before the class, so we can enjoy and focus on cooking during the class.

Sawasdee ka! I’m Krong Na-Songkhla, a Thai native, first learned Thai cooking as a child in the southern province of Songkhla. I spent many years helping my mother and grandmother prepare everyday meals for my family.

Since 2001, I have lived in New York, Texas, Michigan, and Indiana, and traveled around the country. Along my journey, my family and friends have requested that I share my unique recipes and techniques in Thai cooking. I began teaching cooking classes and spreading my love of flavors to others. Now settled in San Diego, California with my family, I have been teaching people the “True Taste of Thai” for over 10 years.

Since many people may be intimidated by seemingly exotic ingredients, it is my goal to ease your worries and encourage you to experience the amazing world of Thai cuisine through my cooking classes.

In addition, I authored and published her own cookbook, True Taste of Thai, available in both electronic and print formats.
