What you'll do

Join Chef Michele from her Cape Cod kitchen as she takes you on a staycation to Valencia, Spain. Our hostess-with-the-mostest invites you into her home to teach you how to prepare your very own delicious Spanish themed meal featuring paella.

On the menu:

Sangria
Catalan tomato bread
Paella featuring chorizo and seafood

Before diving in to cook, our chef will guide you through making a classic Sangria with whichever citrus fruits you have access to at home. Have a drink while you're cooking or save some for dinner. We recommend both!

Next on the menu is a classic tapas dish, Catalan Tomato Bread. Think of it as the Spanish version of a Bruschetta! It's a simple yet satisfying recipe to have on hand for future dinner parties, or cocktail hours.

Then for the main event, Spanish Paella is known for its signature golden saffron hue, smoky flavours of chorizo, fresh seafood and textured vegetables. You will also learn how to flavour profile and blend Spanish flavours, and where to source fresh, seasonal ingredients in order to master the perfect paella at home.

This fun and engaging online cooking class will let you learn alongside Chef Michele and enjoy an amazing meal at the end of your time.

She received her Certified Culinarian and Prochef Certification from the Culinary Institute of America. Additionally, Chef Michele is a Wine Steward and Sommelier, receiving her Certified Wine and Spirits Expert Level 3 from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). In addition to these accolades, Chef Michele is a successful business owner and operator, having experience with several internet sales and services businesses. Chef Michele enjoys elegant entertaining, fishing, Cape Cod beach life and creating new and exciting culinary treats! She also thrives on sharing her culinary and wine knowledge with all!
