What you'll do

Looking for a new hobby that is good for your mental well-being? Painting is meditating with a parting gift! BrushCapades' online painting class is one part instruction on how to paint, and one part TED-style talk on creativity.

Taught remotely via Zoom by an experienced artist, this class gives you the chance to transform your space into a private painting studio for the afternoon. Over the course of 90 minutes, your teacher will walk you through the basics as you paint a gorgeous piece on a canvas from start to finish.

For private events; you can choose from several existing designs or work with BrushCapades to come up with a custom theme that your group is bound to love. For public events; each painting is designed to give you skills that you can practice beyond our classes.

All the materials you need, including paints, a palette, and an easel, will be shipped to you in a DIY painting kit before class begins. Please allow two weeks' lead time for shipping, if possible.

This online class is a great way to reward your hard-working team with a team-building activity or connect your group of friends for an artistic virtual painting party.

Owner and instructor Anjl Rodee is a lifelong artist and entertainer who infuses her passion for art and helping others to connect remote teams through humor, vulnerability, and creative expression. BrushCapades provides only online classes and has worked with some of the biggest brands in the world, including Microsoft, Google, and Amazon.

BrushCapades is unique in that it encourages visitors to trust themselves through the artistic process rather than being led through a rigid, instructional process. Instead of making sure each step is perfect, the focus remains on having fun and fostering connection through vulnerability and stepping outside of their comfort zone through a shared experience.
