Learn from a professional chocolatier how to make your own custom chocolate bonbons using only high quality ingredients and real chocolate.
Using high-quality French cacao and caramel, you will make delicious chocolate bonbons right in your own kitchen.
Ingredients come in DIY kits and get your hands messy in the best possible way! You'll learn how to mix ingredients, use molds to create different shapes, and pipe decorations.
Two hour hands-on class spanning from tempering techniques to beautiful bonbon creation. Your instructor will demo all the processes and guide you through the making of rich fillings (ganache), molding and demolding.
When you are done with class, you will have the best experience making homemade chocolate and maybe an even better time eating them.
Please Note
- Chocolate might contain traces of tree nuts and dairy.
- Teacher will provide shopping list and do-ahead instructions on how to make filling for class.
- Your bonbons will vary from photos depending on available ingredients and your creativity.
- Working room temperature shouldn’t be more than 66-68°F.
- You must have access to a microwave, refrigerator, and hairdryer.
- There is an additional $25 fee if booking this class between June and August
- There is an additional fee for shipping international. During peak holiday shipping season we recommend requesting a shopping list of international participants as it will be more efficient to pick up ingredients and materials local to the participant.

Federica was an amazing instructor who explained and walked us through the processes and pitfalls of making some delicious chocolate truffles.

The instructor was good, however, as we were finishing tempering our chocolate, she was moving on to the next step which wasn’t 100% clearly explained. And it was difficult to work on one step while listening to and watching her complete the next step. Also, the website stated that a candy thermometer was optional, while the instructor kept reiterating how important it was to have one while working with chocolate. The website should make it clear that a candy thermometer is needed. Our bon bons came out great though, so we are happy with the end result.
