Need some things to do in the Bay Area? Try this Neapolitan pizza-making class in San Mateo for a slice of cheesy indulgence. It's ideal for team-building, birthday parties, and more!

In class, each student will make their own hand kneaded pizza dough from scratch using double-zero flour. We'll cover different options for cold fermentation and proofing to build flavor and lightness into your doughs. Options for alternate hydration and sourdough discard pizza doughs will also be covered.

During the two-hour class, we will discuss the best types of cheeses, sauce options, and topping guidelines. We will also go over the pros and cons of using home ovens, pizza stones, and outdoor pizza ovens and how these impact your final pie.

Following your instructors dough stretching, topping and baking demonstration, each student will stretch, top and bake their own pizza in our outdoor oven end then sit down to eat and enjoy their handmade pizza.

Take your finished pizza dough home with you at the end of class.
