What you'll do
Discover how to use a potter's wheel and learn the ancient skill of turning clay into ceramic art during this beginner-friendly experience class. You will not create a piece to take home, this is an experience where you'll get to practice your skills and enjoy a day playing with clay.
This class begins with a basic wheel demonstration. You will learn the basic steps of throwing a cup or bowl on the potter's wheel. Next, you will get your hands dirty and form work yourself. This workshop is great for social media content creators, so feel free to ask staff to take photos and/or videos of you while you work.
After you have created your masterpieces you can take photos with/of them. All pieces made during this class will be recycled as this is an experience-only class. We have other classes at different price points on this platform which allow you to keep your work. The last ten minutes of class are reserved for a mandatory clean-up.

This is a pottery experience, no works are kept or fired in this class.

What to bring
Wear clothes you don't mind getting messy and tie your hair back. We suggest trimming your nails before the session and removing jewelry from your hands and wrists.
