Join Sylvie, owner and operator of On The Board Gourmet, for this charcuterie board workshop in Redwood City and learn the art of charcuterie board styling! You'll create a beautiful and appetizing spread that you can take home and share with your friends and family as a unique food gift.

During this workshop, Sylvie will provide you with some tips and tricks on building a gorgeous charcuterie board. She will also guide you on the best cheeses and charcuterie to use and what are ideal pairings. Jumping off from there, you'll have the chance to use your own creativity to design the board of your dreams.

This workshop is fun to do with your friends and family, or as team bonding with your colleagues. You'll get your beautiful and delicious board to take home at the end of class, and you'll gain lasting skills you can use to wow at many potlucks and dinner parties of the future!

Travel Surcharge range is $50 - $300, which will be assessed and applied to the booking after it is paid for.

What you'll get
  • A disposable palm leaf plate.
  • Fine cheeses, charcuterie and all additional accompaniments for creating the perfect board. (Vegetarian option available.)
  • Step-by-step guidance in creating a charcuterie board led by Sylvie from On The Board Gourmet.
  • Each guest will be able to take their beautiful boards home to enjoy with their friends and family.
What to bring
A large enough space with a flat surface to work on to accommodate your group size (about 2 feet of space per person) plus seats for everyone. Instructor will also need a space for demonstration.

I’m Sylvie, the artist and owner behind On The Board Gourmet.

My love of foods began early on in my life. Food was always the center of family gatherings. My dad was a phenomenal cook and I learned to appreciate many foods through him.



I have always enjoyed eating a variety of foods and my favorite way of eating is sampling many different dishes, which is why I love creating graze boards. Graze boards to me are exactly that, a sampling of many different foods.


When creating for my clients, I love hearing what my creations will be used for - to celebrate a special occasion, a gift for a friend, a thank you, or just because. From that I start to formulate a vision of the board and the feel I want to create for my client.


Some may feel that adding extra touches to a board or box are not necessary but to me it’s important. I take extra care in adding beauty to all my creations, because I’m a firm believer that you eat with your eyes first! How about you?
