Tour of Spain Cooking Class

Learn how to cook paella and other Spanish food favorites in this San Francisco cooking class.

2.5 hours Class size 1 to 8 (public classes), 6 to 12 label $125

If you love the flavors of Spain, you can take a culinary tour with your tastebuds in this hands-on cooking class in San Francisco. Join Chef Daniel as he takes you on a full Spanish food experience as you make quintessential dishes everyone will enjoy.

On the menu:

  • Catalan Pa Amb Tomáquet (crusty bread with rubbed garlic and tomato, with sea salt and olive oil)
  • Setas al Ajillo (mushrooms with garlic, olive oil, parsley, and lemon juice, served with a housemade baguette)
  • Seafood or Vegetarian Paella
  • Orange, onion, olives, almonds, and tomato salad
  • Flan with dulce de leche

You'll make two flavorful tapas and move on to a paella recipe sure to impress. You'll also learn how to make a bright salad to round out your meal. Don't forget to bring a beverage of your choice to enjoy while you cook and to pair with your dinner. For dessert fans, you'll finish off the night with an Argentine-style flan that you'll dream about for days.

Chef Daniel will guide you step by step, so even if you don't have much practice in the kitchen you'll feel at ease. Once you learn the basics, these dishes are surprisingly easy to make. Get your co-workers together for a team bonding activity or treat your friends to a night of great food you all have a hand in making.

When your time is done, you'll leave with a satisfied appetite and new Spanish recipes to try on your own.
