Throughout the workshop, you will be guided step-by-step on how to create stunning pieces of jewelry, from necklaces to bracelets. Don't worry if you have never tried jewelry making before – this class is perfect for beginners! The instructors are experienced and will provide support and encouragement every step of the way.
You will work with a variety of materials, including beads, charms, and wire, and learn various techniques to bring your unique designs to life. Not only will you have fun exploring your creative side, but you will also experience the satisfaction of seeing a beautiful piece of jewelry come together right before your eyes.
At the end of the class, you'll have a collection of handmade jewelry to take home, or perhaps give as a heartfelt gift to a loved one. Jewelry and clothing designer Alzerina Gomes is best known for her creative designs utilizing Austrian Crystals. Born and raised in the remote village of Portalzinho Garca on the island of San Antao, Cape Verde, Alzerina received her first sewing lessons from her mom at the age of four, waking up her life-long passion for creating beauty. Alzerina left Cape Verde for Paris in the early 1990 where she learned the craft of jewelry making while living in Paris. Alzerina fell in love with the Swarovski brand and it was at this time that the idea of becoming a jewelry designer blossomed. In 1998,  Alzerina left Paris for New York City, in 2005 she launched her own eponymous company, Alzerina Jewelry, which has grown to have a presence in New York, Los Angeles, Paris and Cape Verde.
