Wheel Throwing Course

In this personalized workshop, limited to just two students, you'll receive the individual attention needed to build your confidence and skills in ceramics. The intimate setting of the class ensures a supportive environment where you can freely explore your creativity without any prior experience required.

In this course, you'll:

• Learn how to throw on the potter's wheel, master the art of trimming your pieces, and explore the application of vibrant glazes.
• Delight in creating your own unique bowls, cylinders, and mugs under the guidance of an experienced instructor.

Course Outline:
Class 1: Throwing (Cylinders)
Class 2: Throwing (Bowls and Mugs) and Trimming pieces from class 1
Class 3: Trimming pieces from class 2, and possibly glazing
Class 4: Glazing - Finishing up all your pieces

All necessary tools, high-quality clay, a variety of glazes, and firings are included, making your journey into ceramics seamless and enjoyable.

No prior experience is necessary.
  All tools, clay, glazes and firings are included.
 

• Please be sure to wear clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty, as clay can be a little messy, but is easily washed. I will also have aprons that you can wear.
• Consider trimming your fingernails for the best experience.

This class series runs over 4 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.
