Carousel's Press

The class itself is truly 4 hours - they take you through most steps of the setup, printing and cleaning process and give you the skills to explore if you'd want to come back for studio time (which they push hard on throughout your 4 hours). Our instructor was very sweet, knowledgable and clearly had a passion for screen printing.

People in our class were late which means we started late, having 1 instructor for the class meant that assistance for each of us in the group ate up a lot of time (which, of course we all wanted to make sure we did it right but could have benefited from another helper) and by the time we got around to printing, we had about 10 minutes before we had to start cleaning up.

Wish we had more guidance before class on what items we should and shouldn't bring, they were out of certain colors of ink (specifically white) and didn't have more and one of the machines timers were broken which extended our time at this step as well.

Overall, it was a fun class, we definitely learned a new skill and the items that we printed on turned out very cute!

Fantastic class! India was extraordinarily patient and kind and gave great suggestions how to personalize our screen prints even further. Huge spacious neat organized facility. Very comfortable seating area. Silk screening is a very cool process, my family and I really got to know the steps, even my 8 year old, and we made the coolest t shirts and tote bags. 10/10 I would go back again in a minute!

Teacher very knowledgeable and patient. Facility was fantastic. I look forward to learning more about the process of screen printing.

So happy I stumbled onto this - our teacher Ian was great, and our class size was perfect. Great to get a hands on look at everything before potentially jumping headfirst into a new hobby (: + came away with some cute stuff and feel way more confident about DIYing apparel. Also a nice intro to Carousel’s if you’re considering a multi session class!
