Key Requirements:
- Based in Houston.
- 3 years+ ceramics experience.
- Sociable, friendly and passionate about sharing your craft.
- Organized and with good written and verbal communication skills, so you can guide your students and promptly respond to potential customer inquiries.
- You’re a patient teacher who excels at explaining concepts and techniques in a manner that is easily understood.
Nice To Have:
- Access to a venue is strongly preferred (including at least 2 wheels if you are running wheel throwing classes, and access to a kiln for firing student materials)
- An extensive range of pottery skills and creative repertoire
- Experience hosting ceramics classes with small to large groups
