What makes me a good Art Teacher?
Because I can communicate all the benefits that the learning of the Arts could bring to the potential pupil. Which benefits? 1.- Artistic creativity, as it was scientifically proven, incentivizes all the other types of reasoning. 2.- Creative people are better learners, and that sensitivity will make the student assimilate the newly acquired knowledge in an optimum way. They will become more alert citizens rationally as well as emotionally.
PS: I have 20 years of experience as an Art Teacher (8 in Mexico City/12 in New York City). I’m also a published book illustrator, so I have all the techniques very fresh.
