I really liked Elena’s drawing class very much! It was very focused and required completely different skills from the painting class I took with her. She explained in detail the importance of shadows and perspective of the objects individually and their relationship to each other. Elena is always with you observing and directing you to accomplish the goal of bringing these objects in the room to your paper using only pencils. I got lost in this process and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

I just had my first painting lesson with Elena, and it was a super cool experience! Elena is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. We first discussed what I wanted to learn and she offered several options for a lesson. She explained color theory and how to mix colors and use pallet knives in a very clear way. She is very focused and attentive and working with her allows for a fun time as well. Her guidance was consistent and led me to a great result. I couldn’t believe what I painted for my first attempt at oil painting. She set up a comfortable environment in her studio and it was inspiring to see an artist work and use different tools to create. I was very happy with the entire experience. Elena was amazing. She was incredibly patient and thoughtful. She was wonderfully imaginative coming up with new ideas and had a lot to offer in teaching painting. She was able to provide a nice demonstration which helped me along. Now I feel more comfortable moving forward with my painting. It is my first oil painting ever. But Elena's explanation helped me make it! Can’t recommend enough.

My husband and I took this class with a friend who invited us. It was unexpected surprise and a lot of fun. Elena was very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Her explanations were clear and helpful.
The studio was clean and comfortable, and a lot of artwork on the walls. It was interesting to be in the studio of a real artist. Materials and tools were provided, gloves and aprons, coffee, and snacks as well.
I always told myself I couldn't paint or draw, but Elena showed me I could. I had so much fun. She started with some practical guidance, breaking down the steps, and then let us do our own thing, giving help whenever anyone needed it. What a great afternoon!
