I got tickets to this class as a 9th anniversary gift (pottery) for my partner. Patrick was a great teacher and we had so much fun trying something new. The small class size and encouraging atmosphere were perfect for us beginners!

Came here with my BFF as a birthday gift and it was great! Loved that the terrarium glass was large and of good quality. The kit had everything we needed and there was a decent variety of plants to choose from at our table. I really appreciated that they had a snack and drinks table (was not expecting that!) and the hosts were very friendly and patient. Went as a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday! It was great. We had a lot of fun and our dumplings were delicious.
Our teacher was very informative, nice, and funny. He continually came around to offer individualized help and did a great demo! All around it was romantic and fun :)

This class was incredible! I bought the class as a surprise gift for my partner and we each made one knife each. Our instructor Arlene was so helpful, funny, inspiring, and had a great taste in music. The effort was somehow both easier and harder than expected (my arms are spaghetti), but the teacher was available to help if you were struggling. I bought this class as a gift for a friend of mine and we had the best time. We had never done pottery before and yet we managed to make a piece that we were proud of. The guidance and support of the teacher is awesome as it is a small group so she has time to come help you whenever you need. I would definitely recommend and I am looking forward to going back!

Melanie was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions in details and thoughtful manner. This was a gift to me from family as I always wanted to learn how to make mozzarella. I thought the class size was nice and enabled the teacher to be very engaged with the class. The teacher was great and very personable. She made it very enjoyable. I liked being able to jump right into making cheese, was fun.
The tickets were a gift for my sister for us to take the class with her two daughters. Several busy months later, we were able to schedule it.

I got this class as a gift for my best friend as her 25th birthday present. We both absolutely loved this experience. One thing I loved was we learned the overall process of making perfume. If we didn't know what we liked, he guided us through it. I highly recommend, to go with friends, family or a significant other!
We had a great time in our class, it was a perfect birthday present for my boyfriend. He felt like he was on the show Forged in Fire and had a great time. It was a great beginner class, we could do things ourselves but always had our teacher right there to answer any questions or guide us in the right direction. We’ve already talked about doing a next level class!

She started out with a few slides with information on perfume structure and scent categorization then quickly pivoted to passing around and smelling scent samples from their collection. We smelled a dizzying number of scents (I had to re-up on the mimosa 1/2 way through) as Michelle explained how each was derived/extracted; its characteristics and behavior in relation to other scents; and common pairings/combinations. If we liked the scent we dipped our tester strip into the sample and kept it at our workstation.
The next step was to use our sample strips to come up with a combination we liked and create our own perfume. I appreciated her encouragement for creativity and intuition on our part during this process as much as she was willing to make suggestions when asked to do so by one of my fellow workshop mates.
My group was small (7 total), diverse, friendly and engaged; overall, a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere that Saturday morning. Our workshop leader, Michelle, provided tons of information but avoided lecturing, listened intently to and provided answers to questions throughout the workshop. I had a great time immersed in smelling and designing. It reminded me of wine tasting where you set aside time to compare and explore with one of your senses--but here you walk away with your own creation! If you're at all curious or interested in scents, perfumes, colognes, I highly recommend this workshop. + more
