What you'll do
Looking for creative team-building activities in Saratoga? This art class in Saratoga is the perfect place to get together and learn drawing with charcoal and chalk and oil painting.
Your instructor is an experienced artist and will take you through the techniques your group wants to learn in this art workshop. Your studio time includes all the supplies you'll need to create your artwork. All levels are welcome and the setting is friendly and supportive. You are welcome to bring wine and food to add to the fun.
Choose one of the following subjects:
- Alla Prima Oil Painting from Still Life, Materials Provided
- Portrait Drawing from Life with a Model, Model Fee Included
- Classical Studio Drawing from Life, Materials Provided
Atelier instruction is considered the highest form of artistic education and may include drawing and oil painting without solvents, as well as life drawing with a professional portrait model. These can be memorable and life-changing experiences for some people. You choose the topic and your teacher will lead you on your creative journey.
Get your team together, enjoy an evening of art, and come away feeling relaxed and inspired!

My studio is called Art Students' Atelier Saratoga. I teach drawing and oil painting to students of all abilities. For over ten years I have directed classes and workshops that provide a meaningful creative experience for groups and individuals. Whether for fun or for committed life goals, I help people connect with their creative self in a nurturing studio environment.
Most of my students are teens who study with me for several years as they prepare themselves for college. They acquire skills and a body of work to become confident and prepared for their higher education in college or art school.
I also teach adults and groups in classes and workshops throughout the year. I host visiting instructors as well.
