Katie Fiedler

Perfume Making Class

The instructor was very knowledgeable and passionate about perfume making and it made the class so enjoyable! Not only did we learn a lot to help us pick perfumes out in the future but we got to create our own personalized scent to take home with the help of the instructor! The space and materials/packaging were so cute and thoughtful. This class was a perfect gift for my girlfriend’s birthday and  + more

Justine Raymond

Knife Smithing Class

This class was incredible! I bought the class as a surprise gift for my partner and we each made one knife each. Our instructor Arlene was so helpful, funny, inspiring, and had a great taste in music. The effort was somehow both easier and harder than expected (my arms are spaghetti), but the teacher was available to help if you were struggling. To be able to leave with a handmade knife was amazing!  + more

Pottery Wheel Throwing Class

I bought this class as a gift for a friend of mine and we had the best time. We had never done pottery before and yet we managed to make a piece that we were proud of. The guidance and support of the teacher is awesome as it is a small group so she has time to come help you whenever you need. I would definitely recommend and I am looking forward to going back!

Natural Candle Making Class

Melanie was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions in details and thoughtful manner. I always wanted to learn about candle making for hobby, and this amazing birthday gift from my sister gave me this chance! This specific venue got a little noisy in the end as the customers started to come in for lunch. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who has interest just  + more

Asian Dumplings & Dim Sum

This class was a gift from my daughter. Our teacher was engaging, informative, knowledgeable and entertaining (funny)! The professional kitchen was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. We (a class of 16) had plenty of room to observe, participate in demonstrations, and do the work of the class - making dumplings! We learned how to roll a spring roll with rice wrappers, how to make dumpling dough, and four ways to roll and shape dumplings. Our teacher's demonstrations were detail-oriented but not overly complicated. Our creations were steamed and  + more

Knife Smithing Class

We had a great time in our class, it was a perfect birthday present for my boyfriend. He felt like he was on the show Forged in Fire and had a great time. It was a great beginner class, we could do things ourselves but always had our teacher right there to answer any questions or guide us in the right direction. We’ve already talked about doing a next level class!

Carson Elrod

Knife Smithing Class

This is a GREAT time. I was given this class as a Christmas present and it's one of the best gifts I've ever gotten. The class size is small. My teacher was Gerard, and he was warm, nurturing, enthusiastic, encouraging, skilled, and patient. This is a no-nonsense class where you really learn by doing. There's a quick hello and then you're geared up and pounding on molten pieces of rebar like you're a Viking blacksmith forging a sword. After hammering, shaping, quenching, grinding, and weaving, four hours later you leave the workshop with a knife  + more

Got this as a Christmas present and I loved it! We got a feel for the clay and were able to just have fun and make little pots and bowls. Definitely want to go back for another class

DIY Perfume Making Class

Context: workshop gifted to me by my partner because she knows I like to swing by cologne counters and check out offerings. Andbest gift EVER! Workshop: Michelle lead our workshop with much info, ease and aplomb! She started out with a few slides with information on perfume structure and scent categorization then quickly pivoted to passing around and smelling scent samples from their collection. We smelled a dizzying number of scents (I had to re-up on the mimosa 1/2 way through) as Michelle explained how each was derived/extracted; its characteristics  + more

US Workshop Experience Gift Cards

Surprise your loved one with an experience gift card that opens the door to all kinds of fun creative possibilities. Not only will they get to learn from talented local artists and makers, but they'll also support small businesses in their community and across the country. Whether you need a birthday present, a unique Christmas gift, or a gift for a couple, you’ll have plenty of options to choose from. Treat your mom to a candle making class or your sister to a perfume workshop as a relaxing activity. If you’re looking for a way to show appreciation for your team, a cocktail making class or paint and sip will make a memorable summer or holiday party. There's something for everyone to nurture a new passion or just spend time with friends.

Types of Experience Gift Cards

One of the reasons to gift an experience is the chance to let your friend or loved one decide the kind of activity they’d like to try. You can give a hands-on gift like a cooking class where handmade pasta, Thai cuisine, and French pastries are just some of the culinary courses they can take.

If you know someone who has always wanted to develop their artistic skills, you can give them a gift card to sign up for a painting class or a pottery workshop. They can find one that works for their schedule so you don’t have to do the guesswork. Our classes are well-suited for beginners and supplies are included, so all they have to do is show up! They’ll meet other people just starting out or take a class together and bond over a shared activity.

You can give an experience gift to someone who wants to take a food tour or an art walk. This is an immersive time with a local expert and you won’t find this type of present in a big box store. It’s a memorable way to celebrate a birthday or bachelorette party and they’ll appreciate the care you took to find something original.

No matter where you are in the country – from San Francisco to New York City – there are creative experiences to delight all the important people in your life.

How Experience Gift Cards Work

It doesn’t get any easier than giving a gift card for experiences. There are no apps to download or codes to keep track of. When you buy our gift cards, everything is simplified with an email. Have a browse at our classes and choose whatever catches your eye or piques your curiosity.

Instead of generic gift cards, you can send friends and family something that fits their interests. If your co-worker loves flowers, she can learn how to make her own bouquets with a floral arrangement class. Maybe you need a gift for a teacher or assistant. Find a creative experience they’d enjoy from making ceramics to unwinding with a wellness gift like an aromatherapy skincare making class.

Our gift cards are perfect for couples too! If your partner has a passion for arts and culture, you can find art classes that allow them to develop their skills and knowledge. A street art class gives you an insider view with a graffiti artist as a guide. Take it together for the perfect date night. Or perhaps your grandparent loves plants and gardening – a terrarium-making class for two would be the perfect opportunity for them to level up their knowledge while having fun. This is a thoughtful way to show your love and appreciation.

Benefits of Experience Gift Cards

Gift cards offer a unique opportunity to give someone the gift of exploration and self-discovery. Instead of just receiving a material object or a traditional gift, they can try an interest or hobby that can spark a new passion. Whether learning to make their own scented candles or mastering Spanish cooking, your loved one will have the chance to become immersed in a new skill with expert guidance.

One of the greatest advantages of gift experiences is the opportunity to learn from local experts. Our teachers are passionate about what they do and take joy in sharing their knowledge with others. Your mom, sister, or best friend can immerse themselves in creative workshops and gain a new hobby.

While material gifts may provide instant gratification, experiences have longer-lasting benefits. For someone who leads a busy and stressful life, taking time out for themselves to engage in something fun and enjoyable can be incredibly rejuvenating. Whether it's attending a workshop pizza making or exploring meditative pottery, our hands-on experiences cater to all interests and provide an escape to care for your wellbeing.
