First time for: Bento, working with a sewing machine, taking a class with this artist/teacher. All the materials were provided, I just had to bring my interest & creativity. Great way to spend an evening with a few friends. Highly recommend.

This ended up being a very relaxing and enjoyable class. 3 hours whizzed by! And I was inspired as I made my journal. Thank you to the lovely host as well. Looking forward to trying out her other classes.

Excellent materials for journaling with a great introduction and journal sharing by Nicole. The time went by quickly!

It was well organized, plenty of supplies, a very cool notebook- journal provided. Nicole led us and introduced concepts and gave examples in the beginning, was supportive but allowed us to focus on our own process. The time was just right - three hours perfect for an activity like this.

It was a good class. Materials were provided and an overall pleasant experience. The venture was welcoming, clean, inviting and warm. Location was convenient to the bus line.

I would attend her classes again.

All materials provided, including the machine. I am a true beginner on the sewing machine and the instruction was clear and easily understandable.

This class was fantastic! My husband and I brought our 11 year old niece for her birthday. We all enjoyed the activity and created beautiful masks. Nicole had lots of materials for us to work with and provided photos for inspiration. We had a wonderful time getting lost in our own creativity. I would definitely recommend this class for kids and adults!

Loved the time spent with Nichole in her perfect art space on Broadway! She had snacks and drinks ready for us when we arrived and we spent our time quickly learning about the process and then jumped in to start experimenting. Nichole was a great teacher and encouraged us to explore colors, layers, and textures. It was a lovely way to spend time with a friend while in a relaxing, creative environment. We would definitely do it again.

I had a great time at this class! Nicole is really lovely and I loved how laidback and freeform the class was - it really allowed me to work my creative muscle. I really enjoyed chatting to Nicole and getting to know her and the story behind Ase Arts, a really inspiring space. The class was also during the open studio time so I got to meet someone else working on a project which was really fun. I would say that you probably need a little experience with a sewing machine for this class, but even if you don't then Nicole is very patient and shows you how to work her machine. I came in thinking 2.5 hours was really long but actually it just flew by! It was a lovely evening with great people and I came away with two collage postcards I'm quite proud of. Thank you Nicole for such a great evening!

This fabric collage class was so much fun! Nicole was super patient and a great teacher for a first timer on the sewing machine! The project was creative and materials she had available were bright and bold, and a great selection to choose from! I am going to return for another class for sure!
