This class was incredible! I bought the class as a surprise gift for my partner and we each made one knife each. Our instructor Arlene was so helpful, funny, inspiring, and had a great taste in music. The effort was somehow both easier and harder than expected (my arms are spaghetti), but the teacher was available to help if you were struggling. Terrarium Making at Home
I purchased a class as a birthday gift for my granddaughter. We live in MN and we took the class in February. I was concerned about the succulents being shipped and surviving but they made it just fine. We later learned they were packed with heat packs to protect the plant babies. The instructor was engaging and lots of fun. We giggled through our oaths and had a really good time assembling our terrariums.I purchased a class as a birthday gift for my granddaughter. I got this as a gift for my partner's birthday – neither of us had done a cooking class before, but we cook a decent amount at home so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a full class, but Stefano and Dona did an excellent job of being attentive to everyone making sure we all got to participate in different parts of the process. Even as someone who is an experienced home cook, I came away learning a lot and the food was delicious! It was neat getting to try our hands at making the three different types of pasta from scratch. I had gifted a wheel throwing class as a Christmas gift and honestly it’s the best gift idea I’ve ever had! To have Kendal as an instructor was so amazing. She’s insightful, knowledgeable and so encouraging throughout the entire process. The studio is well organized and clean. She had everything that you needed and showed us where everything was and what the uses were. We really enjoyed the free time we got to experiment. If we needed any help or had questions, she was always there and ready to answer. We really had a lot of fun!

As I carefully pieced together the fragments of my broken plate, I found myself reflecting on my own life. Just like the plate, I have experienced myI recently had the privilege of taking a Kintsugi class with Kat, and it was nothing short of a transformative experience.

As I carefully applied the gold lacquer, I felt a sense of peace and tranquility wash over me. The repetitive motion, the delicate touch, the focus on the present moment – it was all so meditative.
In the end, I emerged from the workshop with a newfound appreciation for imperfection, and a calmer, more centered mind. The class was more than just a lesson in Kintsugi; it was a journey of self-discovery and healing.

This class was a gift from my daughter. Our teacher was engaging, informative, knowledgeable and entertaining (funny)! The professional kitchen was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. We (a class of 16) had plenty of room to observe, participate in demonstrations, and do the work of the class - making dumplings! We learned how to roll a spring roll with rice wrappers, how to make dumpling dough, and four ways to roll and shape dumplings. Our teacher's demonstrations were detail-oriented but not overly complicated. Our creations were steamed andThis class was a gift from my daughter. Nurullah is a very patient, detail oriented teacher. I loved learning about the origins of Art String and Mosaic Lamps. Both classes are a lot of fun to do! He's also very friendly, and makes sure you experience a truly complete Turkish experience with treats, music and culture.

She started out with a few slides with information on perfume structure and scent categorization then quickly pivoted to passing around and smelling scent samples from their collection. She started out with a few slides with information on perfume structure and scent categorization then quickly pivoted to passing around and smelling scent samples from their collection. We smelled a dizzying number of scents (I had to re-up on the mimosa 1/2 way through) as Michelle explained how each was derived/extracted; its characteristics and behavior in relation to other scents; and common pairings/combinations. If we liked the scent we dipped our tester strip into the sample and kept it at our workstation.
The next step was to use our sample strips to come up with a combination we liked and create our own perfume. I appreciated her encouragement for creativity and intuition on our part during this process as much as she was willing to make suggestions when asked to do so by one of my fellow workshop mates.
My group was small (7 total), diverse, friendly and engaged; overall, a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere that Saturday morning. Our workshop leader, Michelle, provided tons of information but avoided lecturing, listened intently to and provided answers to questions throughout the workshop. I had a great time immersed in smelling and designing. It reminded me of wine tasting where you set aside time to compare and explore with one of your senses--but here you walk away with your own creation! If you're at all curious or interested in scents, perfumes, colognes, I highly recommend this workshop. + more
