Create organic soap with all-natural herbs, clays and essential oils in this hands-on workshop in Hillsdale. In this soap making class, you'll learn how to make soap using the melt and pour method.

Melt and pour soapmaking is ideal for beginners, or anyone who loves the idea of artisanal soapmaking, but is intimidated by the use of lye. Melt and pour utilizes a pre-made soap base, which is safe and simple for students of all ages and abilities.

We will use a base formulated with organic oils, and you will have the opportunity to customize your own soaps using a variety of beneficial skin ingredients. Fragrances, colorants and exfoliating ingredients are all plant-based and natural making them great for your body. No artificial perfumes, preservatives or colorants are used in this class.

You will also learn about a variety of plant-based ingredients and their beneficial properties for various skin types. This is the perfect opportunity to get your soap making questions answered and create a truly unique soap catered to your needs.
