Breakthrough Sushi

Chose this class for our ladies' team building event for our company, and it did not disappoint! It was so fun to learn about the different techniques for slicing veggies and fish, how to assemble the roll, and how to make different types of rolls. The instructor, Kaz, was amazing, very fun yet informative, obviously a master at sushi making! Everyone had so much fun, and there was no shortage of fresh fish! We all got to eat so much during the class and all had so much extra to take home. Great value in my opinion! The venue was lovely, set in a hotel lobby was a really fun vibe, the music was also great, being upbeat and fun but still chill and not distracting from the instructions. They thought of everything, from a handwashing station, to toppings for the sushi, to helping clean our cutting boards between rolls. The attention to detail was really amazing.
Everyone on my team said this was the most fun event they had ever done! I really loved how hand-on everything was, I was worried that my rolls would turn out poorly, but with such straightforward instructions and everything prepped beforehand, it is hard to not make rolls that you are proud of. Everything turned out beautifully, and was equally delicious!

Chef Kaz was very knowledgeable and taught in a way that everyone, no matter their cooking experience, could understand. It was a lot of fun and he taught us a variety of techniques!

It was great. I did it with my husband and we both loved it. Amazing teacher and environment, fresh ingredients. Would definitely do this again
