The one-on-one class was perfect for getting the detailed instruction that I wanted and lent itself to customizing what I wanted to create. The instructor was very relaxed, encouraging and informative. It made for a fun and great introductory class.

Brian was a very thorough and patient teacher. He demoed throwing the clay first, then proceeded to help us with our next two pieces. There were only two chairs/wheels so it made for a very easy and laid back learning environment. Brian was awesome and I would love to take another one of his classes!

It's my first ClassBento experience and it was great! The instructor was super nice and patient. He explained each steps in detail. He is willing to share lots of information/knowledge. The set up only allows max 2 students at one time so I basically have one on one attention. Wonderful experience and I will come back for other classes.

Brian provided a great atmosphere, was super patient with us, and is very knowledge about his craft. We learned a great deal about pottery ranging from the crafting techniques, history, to even the science behind the materials and baking process. We also made a lot of mistakes, which Brian helped us fix with a great attitude. A+ would recommend.

My mom and I had so much fun and education from attending Brian's private class. Brian was very knowledable and passionate about creating pottery art. He made sure we were progressing at a comfortable pace and still having a good laughter. We loved the experience very much.

I had a wonderful 1on1 with the teacher. They were straight to the point on how to handle the clay as well as helping me with any questions I had! Amazing atmosphere and made things very comfortable for me!

This is the second time I’ve thrown with him and he’s a great instructor. I encourage you to take a class with him and learn about he key skills needed to throw. I took my first class and really enjoyed it - ended up taking a semester long class at a local college and came back to this location to learn new ideas/ tips. 10/10 recommend!

This was a great class for beginners, the teacher was informative and helpful. We were able to make a couple pieces I will definitely use at home.

What a fantastic time! Brian had a wealth of knowledge and a deep joy for all things ceramic. My girlfriend has been wanting to get into pottery and Brian was a endless source of valuable advice while we sat at our wheels under his watchful eye. I made a bowl and a mug, my girlfriend made a cup and a very pretty bud vase. Brian was there to help us the whole time and is adept at making a relaxed and creative environment. Thanks Brian

It was my very first time working with clay. This was a surprise class for my husband too. We celebrate our #9 wedding anniversary. The class was amazing. The teacher gave us a demonstration using the wheel then after that we tried to work with the clay. The clay was so smooth and feels like good quality. We made two mugs, one plate and one bowl. The teacher was in ever step in the process and give a very good feedback. Also, he gave us options to choose a color for our tableware and give us a tour inside for his studio. And the end of the session, the teacher gave us a very cute souvenir for our anniversary.

This was such an amazing class. Brian is an awesome teacher. He was so patient in guiding my partner and I through each step of the wheel throwing process. Even when we made mistakes, he graciously helped us fixed our cups so that we wouldn’t end up with janky ones. After the class, Brian will also glaze our final products for us so that we can a beautiful looking item. Highly highly recommend this class and definitely worth the money

Brian was extremely patient and a great teacher. I felt safe and respect coming here by myself. I’m happy I chose to drive out, because the reviews aren’t lying.

I would either come back myself or during date night.

I made a cool looking mug and since we finished early, he was kind enough to let me do a plate! I would 100% come back again.

This was such a great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone. I had never touched clay before but thanks to Brian’s excellent coaching, I came home with two finished pieces that I couldn’t be prouder of. Perfect setting for a date night, very relaxing atmosphere, and really such a unique experience. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!

I HIGHLY recommend Brian's wheel throwing workshop. As soon as we arrived, Brian welcomed us into his studio and made us feel comfortable. After a quick demo with step-by-step instruction, it was our turn behind the wheel. Brian was there to guide us (and fix our mistakes!) throughout the process. He is a wonderfully patient teacher with a great sense of humor that made the whole experience relaxing and fun. The small class size meant that Brian was able to provide focused instruction and ensure that we would be happy with our finished pieces. We had enough time to make two pieces and select glaze colors. The glaze options were beautiful! It's clear that Brian took great care in firing and finishing our pieces. I couldn't be happier with the end results. The wheel throwing workshop was such a fun date night experience, and now we have beautiful pieces to remember the occasion.

Brian was awesome! My daughter and I learned how to work with the clay. We were able to make some amazing items we each made a cup and a bowl of our own design! Can’t wait to take another class with Brian and make more treasures! Would definitely recommend his class!

Booked on a whim to try out something new and this class exceeded all my expectations. Brian was so patient and had excellent direction for someone like me with no prior pottery experience. Will be recommending this experience to others!

We highly recommend this class! Brian was super knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. We both learned so much from this class. This 2 person size is perfect and the studio is cute and clean. We both made a few pieces and can’t wait to pick them up in a few weeks! Couldn’t imagine a better experience.

Was a great learning experience and the instructor was very patient with teaching although we messed up a lot. The teacher was also very charismatic and funny!

This was such a fun class! The instructor was super patient with me and my boyfriend, as we were REALLY struggling to learn/grasp the gist of what needed to be done. Thankfully the 2:1 ratio helped us get things done and we were pleased with the cups and bowls we made! Cant wait to pick them up in a couple weeks :-) thank you for having us and even letting us stay late so we could finish our pieces. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to try something new and challenge themselves in a creative way

I got this class as a birthday gift for my friend and it was the perfect experience. Brian was a wonderful teacher and created a good environment to learn and have fun. It was both of our first times working with clay and his instructions/demos were great and he had the perfect balance of letting us experiment and guiding us when he saw we needed it. The studio was very comfortable, stylish and his music choices were perfect! This was definitely worth the money and I have already started recommending it to other friends who are looking for a fun workshop. We really could not be happier with our experience, Brian was incredible and hope to take another workshop with him again!

100% recommend. It was a great time! Perfect for beginners and experienced peoples. Teacher is super friendly and insanely knowledgeable!

This was a really fun date night idea that me and my husband decided to do. The teacher is classically trained and not just a pottery but an artist as a whole. I am an amateur potter myself but it was my husband's first time touching clay and the teacher was able to accommodate both of our levels.

The place is in somewhat of an in-law unit but it was well lit and nice artist space. The instructor provided all the materials and explain how he crafts his glazes and what clay he works with. Definitely a good value and you get to walk away with some crafts of the fun night as souvenirs. Definitely would be recommending some of our friends for this event and a great date/date night type of venue.

He was amazing and showed us creativity during this wheel throwing experience. It was so much fun and we learned a lot about the process of making pottery. The environment was really cute and artistic looking. Very cute date for two or to go with a friend. You get to take home two pieces and have a memorable time. Thank you again Br

Fun class! Came with my roommate and have a very pleasant experience. We have no experience in pottery at all and Brian was patient, encouraging and provided us with lots of knowledge.

It was a cozy little studio limit to 2 people. Originally we were afraid it might be intimidating being look at while playing with the clay. But honestly, without his directions and guidance, I might not be able to make it myself and he only steps in/help us when we really need them.

The class started with a demo by him and then our turn. We were able to do a trial one and a final piece. The glazing option is limited compare to the larger studio but they are gorgeous and pretty! Totally worth every penny. Highly recommend

BW Pots was AMAZING Brian is a terrific instructor who welcomes inexperience to create a pleasant setting to just explore clay-making, whether you're totally new to clay or completed a class several years ago. My plus-one and I made three pieces each in two hours and can't wait to see the final product in a few weeks. If BW POTS ever hosts a class in another medium, I'd love to attend.

Cute small studio in a residential area, so no problem parking. Class size was also just up to 2 people, so I loved the attention we received (I definitely needed it!) The instructor was super welcoming, made great conversation, and did great teaching us the skill.

The class started with a demonstration, and then when it was our turn, he would walk us through the steps, lending a hand whenever needed. We were able to try our hand at it twice to make 2 cups, and I definitely improved on the second one! He was very encouraging and accommodating, even when obstacles came up, such as my partner making the base too thing, or me forgetting to cut my nails (DON’T FORGET TO DO THIS ).

He was funny and I never felt an awkward moment. I was satisfied with my cus, even the wonky one, and his selection of glazes was beautiful, even if slightly limited compared to larger studios. I would definitely come back! (:
