Devine is a neighborhood restaurant that offers the most extensive list of cheeses in the Bay Area. We feature local and fresh ingredients and have a range of small to large plates, incredible charcuterie and fresh pasta. The focus is on the quality of the ingredients first—knowing our producers, how they produce, and the integrity they bring to their products.

Our rotating selection of up to forty domestic and international artisan cheeses paired with specifically chosen accompaniments is an experience in and of itself. At Devine we have tremendous passion and an age-old love affair with cheese. We want our guests to indulge with us in the silky-sexy, sharp and nutty, old and funky, fresh and frisky world of cheese.

Devine has been a long time dream come true. Owner, Liana Ryan, has had a vision of a neighborhood casual spot that offers a wide selection of cheeses you cannot find other places, as well as a selection of old and new world wines. Liana has spent many years working in fine dining restaurants in New York, San Francisco, and San Jose. As a Bay Area native, she appreciates and understands the diverse culture of food. She created Divine in the hopes of creating a space you could bring a date, come with the family, meet friends for happy hour, and/or walk in on your own and still feel known. Located in the heart of downtown San Jose, Devine offers a fun dining experience where you can try something new, find your new favorite wine, and fall in love with cheese--again.
