If you're looking for some unique team-building activities that are sure to make everyone happy, or you and your besties need a bachelorette party idea, spoil your tastebuds with this chocolate-tasting online class.
During this delicious virtual experience, you will explore this much-loved confection with a new lens as your chocolate connoisseur from Emma's Delights guides you through tasting notes and guides. You will be sampling twelve different chocolates and learn how to really savor every single bite.
There is plenty of time to discuss the textures and flavors and ask questions. You will also learn a bit more about the chocolate-making process to help you appreciate these tasty treats. Your teacher will illustrate the traditional molding process with polycarbonate molds in the different stages of poured, filled, and closed chocolate shells. She will then release chocolates from the closed mold to show the finished result.
Please note:
- Booking your event at least 3 weeks in advance (5 weeks during holidays) will help your chances to secure your preferred day/time.
- We will need all class details, including all shipping addresses 2 weeks prior to the date of your event.
- Please inform us of any allergies before booking and we are happy to accommodate.
- We ship by USPS Domestic First Class shipping (1 day for CA - 2-3 days outside of CA), but allow for a few days for unforeseen delays by the shipping company.
- If we have to ship to warm weather locations ( 78°F+) we will need to add cold packs and will charge for the applicable kits after booking ($15).
- Store your chocolates in a cool dry place away from strong odors. Please do NOT refrigerate because humidity will cause sugar bloom.
- Chocolate decorating: top 5 salty caramels with fleur de sel, using cocoa butter and a fine artist brush. All materials included. This adds 15 minutes instruction time. ($30)

Hi, I am Emma Martens, a Belgian chocolatière and owner of Emma's Delights, Belgian chocolates. I handcraft traditional Belgian chocolates in small batches and make all my own fillings from scratch with your well-being in mind, as well as sharing my passion by teaching others about chocolate.
Our mission is to combine the luxurious decadence of fine chocolates with the purity of healthy ingredients. That is why we do not use glucose in any of our chocolates and we only use organic cane sugar if we want to caramelize an ingredient. Our ganaches contain NO added sugars.
We want to share with you everything we know and help you have a go at making your own.
We welcome everyone in our classes and will help you explore new flavors and a new way to appreciate chocolate.

Emma was very knowledgable and passionate about chocolate and the team had a great time together learning about all aspects of chocolate growing, storing, tasting, pairing and more. Emma was also very detail oriented for the shipping logistics and very fast at responding and accomodating for veriety of situations we had which is super helpful and very much appreciated. The workshop was a perfect way to end the week on a high note! Highly recommend!

What a wonderful night! We contacted Emma the end of January as our in-person event was cancelled and she was able to coordinate our virtual event of 115 people seamlessly.
