It was my wife's birthday and we were looking to create some art for the apartment. The team at Craftivity were very helpful and accommodating. They responded to my emails very quickly and we had a lot of fun!

We did soap making for a team event at our office, it was really fun! I liked that there was the option to host it in a location convenient for us, and there was a lot of variety with colors, scents, and shapes. The hosts were very helpful :)

This was a great, low-key class! My friend and I were the only ones doing this project, but it was nice to be in the space with folks doing other projects. The finished lamp is beautiful! Don't be in a rush for this class - you'll need to give it plenty of time to cure.

I really enjoyed the class and plan on taking it again.
Our teachers were pleasant and helpful.
It was unique and engaging.
There was never a lack for supplies.

I look forward to my next ClassBento artistic adventure!

Wonderful getting guide us through the process and build some amazing lamps. It was so cool to see the concrete set and the lamps work.

So I have multiple views on this, I think it’s super cool and it was a cute and I can’t wait to have it up in my house. On the other hand 190$ for two people to pour paint? There’s no special instructions, they just kind of hand you paint and have at it… don’t get me wrong, the instructors were great, the experience was fun, and I’m happy I did it. GO NINERS

The workshop was fun and the instructor was patient and willing to help with each persons lamp

Very fun paint pouring class. Really lovely to have all the supplies ready for me to use and I was able to have a lot of fun surrounded by people having fun with their creations.

This Soap Making class was fun to take as a team bonding activity.
Lots of options to choose from (soap molds, dye, scents, dried flowers/leaves to decorate). On average, people made ~5-15 soaps each depending on the size and complexity, all are great to keep or for gifting!

Thanks for a lovely time!

Teacher's response

Thank you, Olivia! Loved hosting you and your team! Body glitter - check!

This entertaining class was the perfect thing to do with my niece and we both loved our lamps. Mary kept things moving and explained the steps clearly, showing us what we needed to do, as well as being very personable. Making the concrete lamps was easy with the supplies for the class, the lights had a lot more features than I expected and the results were great. We love our lamps!

Teacher's response

Thank you, Kelly! Really loved having you In our class!

Everything was ready for us to hit the ground running as soon as we arrived: boards, wood stain, transfer paper, gloves, hammer, nails, and even templates if you wanted to use existing designs. String art is actually pretty straightforward, so there wasn't much handholding required aside from the occasional questions on process, and the instructors were very nice and provided advice as needed. My own hand-drawn design was a bit too complex, and I only got half of the nails in before I ran out of time, but they kindly provided all the nails and string I estimated I would need to finish. I took another maybe 6 hours to finish my project at home; it's not perfect, and I ended up getting additional string of different colors at Michael's, but I'm pretty happy with the result, after some more trial and error on my own. I'd be interested in checking out different projects run in the same workshop--it was cool to see what other folks were working on at the same time. :)

The class idea would be fun but this establishment was under prepared and felt cheap. There were not enough lamps to cure everything. More than half the class time was spent was curing the items. There were also only 3 mini lamps for 10+ people. There should be at least 1 lamp per couple. The items are also cheap kits from Amazon. So some of the items didn’t cure well/ had different cure times. The resin would still be wet but we were told it would be better tomorrow? But it was leaking resin?

For the price of the class, it isn’t worth it. If they invest in better products maybe but as of now. No

Teacher's response

Hi Kendrick, thank you for your feedback. We always strive to make every experience fantastic so apologies if you did not get that experience this time. Any resin with dark/opaque dye is harder to cure so our recommendation is to cure with the lamp on both sides. We had a lamp for every 3 people but will definitely take it into consideration to have more lamps for the future.

Both of our instructors were awesome and encouraged our creativeness! We made a lot of soap and had a lot of fun doing it as a group.

Special and fun experience making the Concrete Lamp with Mary. She was great and patient at teaching us. When we made mistakes, she immediately helped us with solutions and I loved how flexible the class was. Some courses can be strict, but this is a perfect one if you want to do hands-on crafting on a weekend to change up the vibes!

We got to bring our concrete lamp home and it really serves as a unique addition to my modern furnitures. The lamp works well too! I would recommend taking this workshop!

Exactly as advertised! All the equipment and guided instruction that we needed. Our instructor Mehti was knowledgeable and fun. It was great that we got to do multiple canvases each so we didn't feel too much pressure for one to be perfect.

The instructor was very sweet! I would say the only tip would be to please give us more tips and hands on help so that the end product is well done (vs lots of bubbles or imperfections) We know it's part of the process, but I think having more tips on having a good product would have been helpful

Both teachers were excellent and guided my daughter and me through our soap making experience. The class was fun and relaxing and I would take one with them again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend both teachers and the class.

Such a fun experience and so many beautiful soaps to take away! This class came to us as it was part of a surprise bachelorette party for my friend - we all loved it. Leading up to the class, I kept in close contact with Crafitivity. They were always quick to respond and very helpful. There was even a scheduling conflict on my end and they did not hesitate in accommodating us to make sure the bachelorette was surprised. Mimi, our instructor, was wonderful! She made the experience educating but also really fun, and really motivated us to be as creative as possible. I don’t have enough good things to say about Mimi or Crafitivity - we will definitely be back for some of their classes!

The instructors were friendly and knowledgeable, and they made the class fun and engaging for everyone, regardless of their artistic skill level.

We learned about the different techniques of fluid art, and we each got to create our own unique piece of art. The instructors were there to help us every step of the way, and they offered helpful tips and advice.

Overall, we had a great time. It was a fun and creative experience, and I would definitely recommend it to others.
