What you'll do

If you're searching for creative things to do when bored, why not give your green thumb some practice by building a terrarium?

In this online class, your plant-loving instructor will walk you through how to make a terrarium with tropical houseplants, rocks, soil, moss, and fun decorations, which will all be shipped to you in your DIY terrarium kit. You will follow along on Zoom with the other students and learn about basic plant care along the way. If you don't have any experience with plants, this is a great way to get started, as closed terrariums are self-sustaining ecosystems that don't require much maintenance.

Making a homemade terrarium gives you the chance to get a taste of nature from the comfort of your own home. Enjoy taking your hands off the computer keyboard and instead exploring the textures of the different natural elements you use to build your terrarium.
