If you're in need of fun things to do at home, why not try your hand at pottery? Creating ceramics with hand building techniques is not only fun but very therapeutic.

In this virtual class, you will learn basic techniques like pinching and coiling to build anything from candleholders to trinket bowls. Let your imagination be your guide!

Your teacher Andrea will help you every step of the way, giving advice and answering all of your questions. This is a relaxed hour of learning so get in your comfy clothes and chill out while working with clay.

Please note:
This pottery kit is air drying clay and for non-food pottery items like trinket bowls, incense burners, dried flower vases, and more. You can choose to have your pottery fired at your local kiln which will then make it safe for food and can hold liquid.

NEW: We now have a beautiful brown acrylic paint added to our kits. Once your piece is dry you can apply the paint with the paint brush, that is included, to give your pottery piece that natural terracotta look! (see examples in photos)

just okay, instructor was running late without heads up, team was waiting clueless if we will have the class

Reply from this teacher:

Hi Jing, I am sorry you felt the class was just okay. There was a mix up with the Zoom link and I was waiting in a different Zoom classroom, after waiting 1 min I realized there was a mix up and quickly switched to the other Zoom link where only a few out of 16 of your co-workers were, I then waited another 6 mins for all your co-workers to join to start the class. Thank you for your booking. Wishing you all the best, Andrea

The pottery class was so lovely! We did it as a team building activity and people were so into it - felt like we were kids in art class again. Andrea was the best, super helpful getting supplies even internationally, and great at teaching. Would absolutely book with Andrea again!

Great technical explanations of why things are constructed. There is enough freedom to change shape, decorate, etc. The best part was since it was a work event, it completely got your head out of work!

This was a wonderful experience for my team. It allowed us to do something that's very different from our day jobs, while getting to experience a craft that 2 members of my team do as a hobby as a way to get to know them better. The kits were nicely packed and arrived on time. Overall, the team would recommend this to others!

This class taught the basic techniques of how to mold paper clay. Even though this class was done during the work day at my work desk, I was completely engrossed in the task and completely forgot about work. It's a great therapeutic activity!

Iris Carone • Mar 2022

The class went very well and the instructor was very through. Her instructions were descriptive enough to help us understand what we needed to do.

Jennifer Kajisa • Mar 2022

We had a small team class with Andrea and it was such a great time! Our jobs are not in the creative realm so it was awesome to take an hour away from our computers and calls and just chill for an hour, let the creative juices flow and get our hands a little dirty! Andrea was also very chill and a great instructor.
