Make a beautiful glass mosaic in this two-part workshop.

2 x 3 hours Class size 4       $125

In this workshop, you will have the opportunity to create a stunning 10" round fused glass mosaic piece complete with a display stand. This class will be very limited in space, ensuring a personalized and immersive learning experience. Throughout the workshop, you will learn how to cut and snip glass to craft a beautiful design. While prior experience with glasswork is beneficial, you will be guided through each step by Jen.
Day 1 (4 hours) will focus on the intricate process of cutting and placing glass pieces to form your own mosaic creation. Jen will provide expert guidance as you bring your design to life. After arranging the pieces, your artwork will be fused in a kiln, adding depth and texture to your masterpiece.
Day 2 (2 hours next Saturday) introduces the art of grouting your mosaic piece using glass powder, adding the finishing touch to your artwork. Following this, your piece will undergo another kiln session, bringing out the vibrancy and detail of your design. Once completed, you can collect your finished piece, which includes a display stand, on a designated date.
Throughout this hands-on activity, you will work with a variety of materials, immersing yourself in the creative process of glasswork. While beginners are welcome, having some experience with glasswork may enhance your overall experience. The transformative nature of this workshop will leave you with a unique and personalized glass mosaic piece to display proudly in your home. Engage your creativity and learn the art of creating beautiful glasswork with this enriching and enjoyable experience.

I love creating with fused glass. I sell my fused glass creations at a local store and various craft fairs. I have been teaching fused glass through a local technical college for a few years, and I have met so many wonderful people. It is so much fun sharing my passion with people.
