If you're looking for creative hobbies to try, you can make unique glass art in this fused glass workshop in Larsen. Fused glass is the process of "melting" glass pieces in a kiln to create one stunning piece of glass art. You'll learn how to cut glass, put pieces together, and the process of fusing. There are no set projects, so you are free to create what you want. Explore your creativity and create a handmade item that shows off your personal taste! Items you could create include wind-chimes, garden trellis, or holiday ornaments. Your experienced instructor will guide you through your glass art project from start to finish, so there is no experience necessary. Whether you're looking for a new hobby or want to add a fun activity to your next birthday party or date night, this class is easy and engaging. Once you're finished, your items will be taken off-site to be fired in the kiln, for pick up at a later date.

Optional: You are welcome to bring your own tools if you already have the necessary supplies or if you do not want to share with the class. You will need one pistol (or pencil) grip glass cutter and one glass breaking plier. These can be purchased at Hobby Lobby or Amazon.
I love creating with fused glass. I sell my fused glass creations at a local store and various craft fairs. I have been teaching fused glass through a local technical college for a few years, and I have met so many wonderful people. It is so much fun sharing my passion with people.
