Fused glass is the process of "melting" glass pieces in a kiln to create one stunning piece of glass art. You'll learn how to cut glass, put pieces together, and the process of fusing. During this workshop, you will design and create your own three fused glass panels. These panels will then be placed into a metal garden stand for display. Completely Optional: You are welcome to bring your own tools if you already have the necessary supplies or if you do not want to share with the class. You will need one pistol (or pencil) grip glass cutter and one glass breaking plier. These can be purchased at Hobby Lobby or Amazon.
I love creating with fused glass. I sell my fused glass creations at a local store and various craft fairs. I have been teaching fused glass through a local technical college for a few years, and I have met so many wonderful people. It is so much fun sharing my passion with people.
