I got this class as a birthday gift for my friend and it was the perfect experience. Brian was a wonderful teacher and created a good environment to learn and have fun. It was both of our first times working with clay and his instructions/demos were great and he had the perfect balance of letting us experiment and guiding us when he saw we needed it. This wood working class was amazing! Our teacher was so knowledgeable, helped us build confidence with machinery, and provided everything we needed! There was a perfect amount of time for us to work together (sharing the machines/discussing which materials to use) but also on our own time to just be present and focus on the beautiful task at hand! We just finished a terrarium class at Botanic Panic; it was a (perfect) gift from my daughter. The class was great from start to end. The teacher (and shop owner) was so friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and fun. We ended up with great terrariums; the material's of provided were plentiful. (I tried to attach photos but kept running into problems).

This class was great, Chinmayi was very kind and helpful! I made this as a gift and I think it came out pretty good! Chinmayi came to my home and bought all the materials and instructions along with a bunch of different examples. She was very patient as my friend and I made two different types of mandalas, and they both look great!

I especially love how she emphasizes the importance of taking time for self, letting go, and just being present with the craft (especially after a long day at work). We (a class of 16) had plenty of room to observe, participate in demonstrations, and do the work of the class - making dumplings! We learned how to roll a spring roll with rice wrappers, how to make dumpling dough, and four ways to roll and shape dumplings. There's a quick hello and then you're geared up and pounding on molten pieces of rebar like you're a Viking blacksmith forging a sword.
