Experience the pottery process from start to finish in this glazing workshop in Chicago. If you took the pottery taster class and would like to glaze your pieces or need an extra day to glaze your bisque pottery, join this pottery class.

Glazing is the last step of creating handmade cermaics before it is fired to be used! You'll be able to choose your preferred glaze and your instructor will walk you through how to coat your handmade item.

Please wait to book the glazing class one week after your initial wheel/hand-building class. This will ensure enough drying time in between firing your pieces. Upon signing up, you will be asked to send a photo of your unfired pieces, so that your teacher knows which pieces to fire in preparation to be glazed.

Muze is a pottery and painting studio that was established in 2020. The studio originally began as a private art studio for the founder and artist, Kendyl Arden, but Muze has transitioned into a space for community art making in the heart of Chicago. We currently provide pottery and painting art classes to individuals within the community! We do this for both adult and children who are interested in exploring a creative passion and interest of theirs. Alongside this, Muze develops art therapy resources for humanitarian organizations around the world!
