Golden Hand Studios is the studio name of artist, Jeneba Koroma aka Limba Gal (that's me). I'm a jewelry artist and educator located in Chicago, IL. For the past 10 years I have assisted beginners and dabblers alike to explore the fulfilling art of jewelry/metalsmithing.

I have opened up my studio to share my passion and knowledge of jewelry making with others as a way to foster creativity, community and learning. Each workshop is designed to provide, safe, and patient instruction in a non-intimidating, fun, and low-key environment.

This workshop was great. This is the second class I've taken. She is very knowledgeable and is patient and a good teacher. The rings are great and she worked with what I had. She is open to suggestions as to further workshops and things you would like to learn. You can tell she enjoys teaching. I cannot recommend Golden Hand Studios workshops enough.

My teacher was fantastic She was so kind and helpful and cheery, and she ensured my rings came out beautifully. She even let us have some of her snacks. Overall, Jemeba made this experience fantastic. I would recommend this to everyone who is interested in jewellery making.

Had an amazing time making stack rings with Jeneba! She guided me through everything but also made sure I had ownership of the learning process. At the end, we created two really nice rings with rose quartz stones that look like they were professionally made Looking forward to doing more workshops at Golden Hand. Jeneba was so kind and caring--you can tell she's there to teach and she's very passionate about doing so!

It was an awesome experience!
The class was small, so you get full attention and instruction. Teacher was patient and passionate about her craft.
The materials was enough to convey what we are learning, final product is more than just the rings, it was the experience of learning!

I had a great time and was able to make two beautiful copper bracelets. The instructor was amazing and I learned so many techniques. I am taking another class with her two weeks and I am so excited. I highly recommend this class to anyone whether you have never made a piece of jewelry or are trying a new medium
