What you'll do
Learn to craft silver jewelry in this hands-on, beginner-friendly metalsmithing workshop in Chicago! You'll learn foundational metalsmithing skills that will enable you to create your very own set of stack rings from start to finish.
In this fun 3-hour workshop, you will learn to form, texture, solder, and polish two sterling silver stack rings. You also have the option to choose one cabochon gemstone to add to one of your rings. You will be provided with patient, guided, step-by-step instructions along the way.
This class requires no jewelry experience, which makes it perfect for curious crafters and makers! Whether you're hoping to learn a new hobby, looking for creative experiences in Chicago to do with friends or loved ones, or a great gift idea, this is a fun and unique way to spend an afternoon!
All materials and tools are provided, making it easy for you to get started on your journey. You'll leave with a beautiful set of stacked rings you made yourself! Personalized and custom-sized to your fingers, you can wear these rings with confidence!

Golden Hand Studios is the studio name of artist, Jeneba Koroma aka Limba Gal (that's me). I'm a jewelry artist and educator located in Chicago, IL. For the past 10 years I have assisted beginners and dabblers alike to explore the fulfilling art of jewelry/metalsmithing.
I have opened up my studio to share my passion and knowledge of jewelry making with others as a way to foster creativity, community and learning. Each workshop is designed to provide, safe, and patient instruction in a non-intimidating, fun, and low-key environment.
