Express your creativity while creating functional homeware in this ceramics class in Capitol Hill. In this two-day workshop, you will learn hand building basics to create a handmade pitcher.
Your instructor will cover how to create your base, refine forms, and make handles. On the last day, we will go over decorating with underglaze and adding small adornments.
Your instructor provides a supportive and comfortable environment where you will feel at ease and focused. If you're starting from scratch and looking to learn a new craft, it will be worthwhile to learn from a professional. This will start you off on the right track, clue you into pro tips, and allow you to get personalized assistance for your goals and needs.

T. Stefanski / Taylor Stefanski is a ceramicist from Everett, Washington.
Their work explores concepts of imperfection through meditative repetition - expressed in the hand building process. Each of their pieces are one of a kind and made primarily using a coil building technique. Where she rolls each coil by hand to create each unique form.
Graduated from Cornish College of the Art with a focus on printmaking and sculpture. Their ceramic work is carried in a variety of stores in Seattle, Portland and LA.
She has been teaching for over four years and currently teaches hand building classes at her studio in Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle.
