Kaori's Kitchen

I loved our Mochi class with Kaori's Kitchen! The instructors were very well organized, on time, and very engaging. It was the perfect amount of time (~2 hrs) / speed and all the mochi elements were delicious! It was the perfect way to celebrate a special birthday!

Other things I loved:
1) They were able to travel to us (for a reasonable fee). We held our class in the community room in our apartment building so there was plenty of space / a kitchen for them to use. We had a larger group of 18 people and it still felt very engaging for everyone.
2) Yukiko was very engaging - she did a wonderful job explaining things to us and getting us excited for the class.
3) Variety of mochi - I loved how we made a few different kinds of mochi.
4) Set up - So well organized and cute. I held this as a birthday party so it all felt very special. Note - we did supply the tables/chair since they traveled to our space.
5) Hands on! I loved how it was very hands on for everyone (i.e. we all got to participate in mixing / pounding mochi)
6) They did a wonderful job cleaning the space they used - it was left as we found it!

The class was a lot of fun! It made you feel like a kid in arts and crafts again. I highly recommend it for a fun family outing, team building event, or something to do with friends.

Everyone loved this class and especially the teacher. She was very cute and loved all her stories. Also the Mochi was yummywatch
